1. G'day, Rockingham ! (Friday-Saturday, November 19th-20th)


The delegation of 17 people left Ako City for the City of Rockingham in the early morning of November 19th.


At 6:45 a.m. in front of the Ako City Hall


Mr. Mameda. the Mayor of Ako City, came 
and saw off the delegation.


"Bye !"(at Kansai Airport)


The delegation took Singapore Airline 
Boeing 777.


After a 12-hour flight from Osaka to Perth via Singapore, the 17 people arrived in the City of Rockingham late at night.

We found the beautiful scenery of Rockingham next morning.


Beachside park.


What a beautiful beach and sea !


Diving seems to be a popular sport in Rockingham.
And there are shower facilities for marine leisure in the beachside park.


The stone ball of this monument weighing 1,300kg is supported by water pressure (?) and spins around if you push it. (click the photo. You can see a movie (windows media video 500k).)


An electric powered BBQ facility in the park.


You can enjoy BBQ lunch in a gazebo on a sunny day.


Downtown along Road Patterson..


A Cafe and the Beachside Apartment Hotel, 
where the citizens' delegation stayed.


A couple of condominium buildings were under construction in the beachside area.
